 The Radiology Departments of Central Kansas Medical Center and St. Joseph Memorial Hospital are covered 24 hours a day, seven days a week through scheduled staffing and the provision of technologists on call. Several service modalities are offered at CKMC, including: Diagnostic exams, Mammography, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, DEXA(bone density exams),Ultrasound, MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine as well as several other special interventional procedures.
Collectively, the two departments have over 200 years of experience and 150 years of employment at CKMC. The Radiologic Technologists are a very important part of the health care team and they continue to meet the high standards required for practice in this profession, through continuing education, crosstraining in additional modalities and continuous clinical experience.
