Fundraising Activities

Donations to our Foundation are tax deductible, and may also provide considerable tax advantages to you. Various gift opportunities exist, including donations of stock, cash, annuities, insurance proceeds, gifts-in-kind, real estate, short-term lease of commodities, trusts, and wills.

Through the generosity of our donors, the CKMC Foundation raised a total of $669,444 in 18 months to assist with the building of the Heartland Cancer Center.

This cancer treatment facility allows patients in our area to receive the highest level of medical and radiation oncology services at home, thus eliminating the need to travel long distances to receive care. This greatly reduces the stress and anxiety for both the patients and their families.

We are very grateful to the State of Kansas and the Tax Credit program, which allowed this project to become a reality.
